Involvement Marketing

Daryl Olsen on Kevin Murphy"Kevin Murphy’s ability to facilitate a meeting or an event is outstanding!  He is able to engage the entire audience and creates a positive atmosphere that makes any event a success."

"He is the best I have ever seen at facilitating a meeting."
Daryl Olsen, DVM, Owner
Audubon-Manning Veterinary Clinic in Audubon, Iowa
President, American Association of Swine Veterinarians

Dr. Brad White on Kevin Murphy"I've participated in events that Kevin has coordinated and emceed that brought together members of the food-chain ranging from producers to purveyors to retailers to consumers.  These discussions have led to valuable insights regarding the wants and needs of all participants. By bringing people together for direct interaction Food-Chain Communications can help simplify our food system which at times can be a very complex process."
Brad White, DVM, MS
Asst. Professor, Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine

One of the gaping weaknesses in our modern food system is the lack of communication between stakeholders.  Although we produce a safe and abundant product, the chain has traditionally operated within separate silos; a collection of parts rather than a synergistic chain.

The greatest tool to overcome this is involvement or experiential marketing where people gather together. For example, we helped bring together four food-animal veterinarians with four grocery retailers and the results were powerful. Questions were answered, myths overcome, and the chain strengthened.

At Food-Chain Communications we can develop content, set the agenda, gather compelling speakers, emcee and coordinate your involvement activities.  There is probably no better way to break through the barriers that exist within our food-chain and to leave a lasting impression than through involvement marketing.

A great example of Involvement Marketing is the recent Farmer Goes to Market program that sought to bring together the farmers who are producing our food and the retailers who are selling it.  Face-to-face dialogue with these two powerful food-chain stakeholders can help eliminate many fears that are planted in the consumers mind.
